The Bartec TECH450 is a professional TPMS diagnostic and programming tool designed for tyre shops, garages and automotive technicians. It can activate and read compatible tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors, identify sensor faults, programme aftermarket replacement sensors and guide technicians through vehicle-specific TPMS relearn procedures. Its colour display, intuitive menus and wireless connectivity help make everyday TPMS servicing more efficient.
Yes. The TECH450 supports programming of Bartec Rite-Sensor® replacement sensors using the RITE-SYNC® process, as well as compatible aftermarket programmable TPMS sensors. It also supports programming multiple compatible sensors during a service operation. Technicians should check the latest vehicle and sensor coverage before programming or fitting replacement sensors.
Yes. The TECH450 supports OBDII TPMS relearn procedures on compatible vehicles using a wired OBD connection. It also provides vehicle-specific guidance for other supported relearn methods, helping technicians complete TPMS servicing after sensor replacement. Unlike the TECH600, the TECH450 does not support wireless VCI/BT OBDII communication. The required relearn procedure depends on the vehicle's make, model and year.
The TECH450 supports direct Wi-Fi software updates. Once the tool is registered and connected to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Tool Updates > Update Tool to check for and install available updates. The TECH450 can also be managed using Bartec's free TPMS Desktop software. Regular updates help maintain current vehicle coverage, sensor information and TPMS relearn procedures.
Both tools support professional TPMS diagnostics, compatible replacement sensor programming and OBDII relearn procedures. The TECH450 adds direct Wi-Fi updating, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless inductive charging and wireless audit data transfer to TPMS Desktop. The TECH350 provides the core TPMS functions with USB-based updating, a wired OBD connection and a user-replaceable rechargeable battery.
