1998 - Bartec installed the first ever TPMS car plant system at Renault, Sandouville France and today have in excess of 105 plant installations. These TPMS antenna systems diagnose faults at wheel and tyre assembly and program vehicle ECUs on the final production line within major car manufacturing plants. With a market share of over 80% of plants in Europe and North America, Bartec is able to access the most up-to-date technical information and specifications of vehicles and sensors. This means that the portfolio of aftermarket tools available are also always up to date.

2005 - TPMS is legislated in North America. The company expanded and opened Bartec USA LLC to support their North American customers. Using their market leadership, Bartec USA equipped many car plants and over the subsequent years supplied over 100,000 tools to aftermarket customers including tyre shops, repair shops, OE customers and more. These advanced tools diagnosed TPMS faults, enable repairs and turn off the warning light.
