TPMS Training
Bartec Auto ID provides professional TPMS training on a regular basis. Our training centre which is situated in Barnsley is equipped with the latest presentation and training equipment. The training contents is not only taught in theory but you will also practice the practical application. For the practical sessions there will be a training car.
Our TPMS training is aimed at tyre fitters, tyre dealers and garages. The only requirement to attend our courses is that you have experience in the assembly of wheels.
The following contents is taught:
TPMS Theory
- Explanation of the European regulations
- Differences and functioning of the different systems (direct, indirect)
- Structure of and differences between OE sensors
- Maintenance of sensors
- Differences and functioning of universal sensors
- Sensor mounting and special tools
- Theoretical instruction in the operation of TPMS diagnostic tools
TPMS Practice
- Sensor mounting
- Vehicle check with the TPMS diagnostic tool
- Programme universal sensors (copy/create)
- Relearn sensors to the vehicle (OBD)
- Success monitoring
The one-day training courses are held in small groups of max. 9 participants. At the end you will receive a certificate on your acquired knowledge and skills. The course fee of £150 per person includes, apart from the training itself, the training material, lunchtime catering, as well as coffee/tea and cold drinks throughout the day.
