TPMS Plant Portable tools
Bartec manufacture the BXR range of TPM read and test tools for the plant environment. Rugged tools designed to activate TPMs from Schrader, Siemens, TRW, Pacific, Lear and Beru. These tools have a number of build options including: integral bar code readers for capturing VIN; K-line, J1850, CAN interfaces to ECU; battery or mains power etc
TPMS Production Line Readers
Bartec production line readers enable the manufacturer to read the TPMs data after the wheels are fitted to the car on the production line. The TPM IDs and their wheel position on the car data are accurately captured by the reader system and then written to the cars ECU. The car's 'TPM system' can then be tested in the rolls area. These systems are fitted in 46 different car plants across the world.
TPMS Plant Test Tools
Bartec Test tools are used in the wheel and tyre assembly plant for testing the integrity of the TPM in several stages: during insertion; to check the orientation of the TPM so that it does not break during the assembly of wheel and tyre; during or after complete assembly to check the TPM is working in all respects. These installations normally comprise one of a number of antennae fixed over the moving conveyor
